Abstract: This study examines the influence of digital literacy on early childhood development (ECD) outcomes in Nigeria. The objective is to explore how digital technologies and media exposure impact cognitive, social-emotional, and language skills among young children. A survey research design is employed to gather data from ECE educators, technology specialists, and parents across Plateau State. A purposive sample of 150 participants is selected based on their involvement in integrating digital literacy in ECD settings. Findings indicate that balanced digital engagement, age-appropriate digital tools, and guided media use positively contribute to children's learning experiences, digital literacy skills, and critical thinking abilities. Recommendations advocate for digital literacy integration in ECE curricula, professional development for educators on digital citizenship, and parental guidance to optimize digital media use for enhanced ECD outcomes.
